On behalf of the Council, this communication is to inform you that on Friday, December 3, 2021, at a duly convened Special Meeting regarding the Alexis Treaty Land Entitlement (TLE) Trust, the members approved a Per Capita Distribution.
PCD will be provided to the members on Friday, December 17, 2021 in the form of direct deposit or cheque during the Alexis Community Christmas Feast, (9:00 am - 5:00 pm)
DIRECT DEPOSIT:
Direct deposit deadline: December 13, 2021. Must fill out and attach PCD direct deposit form, if you have dependents the parent/guardian waiver form will need to be attached.

We are removing barriers for First Nations people by eliminating the Alberta Indian Tax Exemption (AITE) card.
After October 4, 2021, the federal Certificate of Indian Status card will be the only form of identification needed for applicable tax exemptions on reserves.
The decision to discontinue use of the AITE card was made following engagement with First Nations leaders.
Tobacco and fuel tax exemptions will still be recognized for First Nations people, who will be able to use their status card to make purchases from participating retailers. Old, expired and temporary status cards will be accepted for purchases.
