Date: February 24-26, 2025
Location: River Cree Venue, Enoch Cree Nation, Alberta, Canada
The Indigenous Wellbeing Conference 2025 is designed specifically for those who are already helping others in their professional and personal lives. Whether you’re a caregiver, community leader, counselor, or mental health professional, you dedicate yourself to supporting others but often lack the opportunity to receive the same kind of support in return. This conference is an opportunity for you to invest in your own well-being and gain valuable knowledge and life lessons to carry forward into your work and daily life.
This year’s theme, "Empowering Care Networks for Community Healing and Resilience" focuses on equipping those who are dedicated to supporting others with the tools, strategies, and insights needed to build their own resilience while continuing their important work. You’ll hear from a distinguished lineup of speakers, including Arvol Looking Horse, the 19th Generational Keeper of the White Buffalo Calf Pipe, who will share his wisdom on traditional healing practices, and Ted Nolan, former professional hockey player and coach, who will speak about resilience and leadership. Michelle Thrush, Award Winning Indigenous Actress, will explore the role of storytelling and activism in healing. Alongside them, Dr. Michael Yellow Bird, Francoise Mathieu, Amanda Balsillie, and Dr. Anita Lafferty will provide insights into wellness, mental health, and community-building.
At the Indigenous Wellbeing Conference 2025, you’ll engage in workshops, keynote presentations, and interactive sessions designed to provide actionable tools for enhancing both personal and professional resilience. This conference offers a rare opportunity for those who dedicate their lives to helping others to receive the support, care, and insight they deserve. You’ll leave with practical strategies that you can apply to your work, whether in mental health, social services, or community leadership, and be equipped to continue your important work with renewed strength and understanding.
Spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged. For more details about registration, fees, and conference information, please view our event post by visiting the link below or reach out to us directly.
